Bernard L. Charbonnet, Jr., NOLA
Mr. Charbonnet has extensive experience in many areas of law, including construction, real estate, and aviation-related matters. As General Counsel for the New Orleans Aviation Board, Mr. Charbonnet reviewed every contract for each capital improvement project at the New Orleans International Airport. During his tenure as general counsel, Mr. Charbonnet advised the airport not he appropriateness of the contracts, but also the financing of those improvement projects and compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory laws.
Mr. Charbonnet currently serves as general counsel to the Hospital Service District A in New Orleans and was instrumental in the programming, design, and construction of the $100 million 80-bed hospital and related medical service facilities built after Hurricane Katrina.
In addition to being president of Charbonnet & Associates, Planners and Consultants, Inc., his Law Firm, a companion enterprise, has served a construction counsel and strategic advisor to public agencies with projects from $50 million to $1 billion.
